I have a 1982 38 SE that originally had a windsheild.
What I did was use the framing of the windsheild and
went to a fab. shop where they welded aluminum on
the outside (front) of the frame making it seamless
all around. Be careful because the heat from
the welding will contort the frame. (About $300.00 cost)

The flip up wind deflectors where missing when I bought my Mistress so I called Cigarette and they gave me the name of the shop that made them and does about all there aluminum fabricating. He made them up like the new style and had them powder coated and the are really nice. I was in there shop and they make beautiful custom aluminum swim platforms. I think the owners name is Steve @ Alumiminum Marine Products, 1890 Griffin Rd, Dana Florida 33004, Phone # 954-923-1905 or 800-966-3313 fax # 954-923-1842 Hope this helps. Doug
