I agree about the 2000 model being a stepper, maybe a late production 99

They made both in 2000 but mostly straight bottoms. Two neighbors own the boat and I know they spent quite a bit of money on it. Motors were originally 900-1000's but they de tuned them to about 800 for reliability and speed as this was their first performance boat. They have now moved on to a cruiser and are selling this. Boat stayed on a lift with a full cover. I've never been on it but it looked pretty clean from a few feet away. It's been for sale for a long time and I think their coming to the realization that it's not worth what they think it is.

They made both TS and straight until 01 and they even made one custom 01 or 02 at right bottom gun per customer request. Started vacuum bagging on 99 so the 99 and 00 straight guns ran a bit faster. Buddy of mine owned the patriot 38 gun and patriot 42 tiger. Both great boats.

i've seen it a few times. guy's never really ran it a lot in the big lake. idle out and maybe run it a 1/2 hour. never looked real close at it in the shop but it seemed to be in nice shape. call ben at chief/precision power 616-844-1000 he has done quite a bit of work on it. does the service & i think he did the new dash.

Its at pier 33 for sale...looked at it last week...little rough around the edges in my opinion...I would get a survey first thing...I don't think its worth what they're asking but that's my opinion

I'm curious as to why it's not worth 90k given the pricing on other Cigs

They have it listed for 99,900 and they told me that its pretty firm...imo you can find a gun that doesn't need the headliner replaced and oil leaks fixed and TONS of cleaning including buffing and waxing A LOT for less than 100k...I understand its a 2000 but from what I saw and smelled its been wet so a survey would be my first move. Maybe I'm wrong as I'm not a cig expert by any means but it was not worth me going forward with it from what I saw. To each there own and it may be a great deal for someone else just not to me
