My air cleaners were cut down 1/4 inch to clear hatch for intercoolers with stock weiand blowers. My TBS replacement blowers are not as tall.

Sounds like I need to start tossing out seat cushions to lighten my load & catch up to you!

You wouldn't be the first. Someone tacked on step(s) to the bottom of an Apache back in the day.

There were stories about it here on OSO in the days of way back.

How fast were the 525/XR F2 TS/TGs? They'd eek over 90 in perfect conditions right?

I've read 87+ with the spec 500's in the F2 class
