I pull my Bullet with a V10 Excursion. Pulls really well
Maybe not the best fuel mileage but plenty of power.

No trailer correct?

My cafe brochure called the cafe 9,600 before fuel, trailer, blowers, ext steering, strainers, anchors, lines, swim platform, spare props, tools, booze, etc..... I believe my cafe is potentially over 14 on the trailer at some points. I use an F350 diesel dally.

So what did guys do in the 80's when these boats were new? Best diesel you were going to buy was about 165 hp at the flywheel.

I pull mine with a gmc 1500 step side with a 350 engine. No problem on boat ramps. Of course Florida is flat and I don't know how it would do on mountain roads. Bigger would be better if you are buying new. Gas mileage is not great either.

Had no issues pulling in down from Tulsa when I got the boat. Just have had enough of the ford 6.0 Diesel

I'd take a gm 6.5 over a iho 6.0. They are about on par with an Oldsmobile 5.7 diesel
