Default 6 Blade Props on Top Gun T/S

I have a 03 Top Gun w/525's ITS and sport masters. It has 32 bravo 4 blades now. I get a lot of blow out when trying to plane. Has anyone tried Hering 6 blades? The boat runs 86-87 mph

Yes, I good friend of mine has. They didn't perform all that different than the Bravo's that were on it before.

Cigracer,

Did your friend have a similar motor and drive set up? When did he try them? Lip-ship highly suggested I get them.

Thanks,

p.s. GLH I'm not worried about Parnell, he will be rebuilding his motors this summer from running all winter.

He had the 575's with XR's. Basically the same setup. He tried them in the 2001 season. They may work for you. He just didn't think there was all that much difference. He didn't have sportmasters though.

My suggestion would be to try the Hydromotive Five Blades... Are the props spinning in or out??

Cigracer,
I think the Herring's our friend had were 5 blade not 6.

You are right there was no performance gain with them.

Spinetickler ('01 38 TS with 575SCI`s) went from 88 to 92 mph just by swapping to Hering 5 blades.

He bought them from Lipship
