Default Tiger in the water ( first time )

I have waited all winter for the Ice to melt in WI... I have never owned a vee. I bought a Tiger from Martins with 525 which they brought up north for me ( great guys ) I ran it with there stock 30s and ran 79 on gps ( calm day ) , I put a set of labbed 30s which I had from my old boat on and ran the boat Wed. 55 degrees and a little more chop and ran 87 mph. Not bad for stock power and almost half a tank of fuel.

That's some nice performance pickup from a set of labbed wheels. Congrats and good luck with the new rig!

Default Nice Boat congrats!

Good speed with those props. I always discovered my boat ran faster after I got back to the dock and had a couple beers!

For those non believers I went to storage and shot a photo of the speedo...

Jon York from York Prop. in CA did my props. I ran these on my 30 daytona at 118 mph. They are bravo I which he charges around $250.00-$300.00 per prop. His # is 714-733-5444

I am trying to do the Math. 42ft Tiger+twin 525=87mph. That is some high numbers. If you stepped up to some 875 Sterlings you might see 120mph .You Must have a super light layup.

York is great. Used him on some Bravos I had for my cig (props are for sale). Great to deal with and great prices!
