Re: 24 cigarette
That is definately a Squadron, if it's an '83 then it should have a Cigarette hull # on it. It's missing the cushions on each side of the hatch in that picture. I can also see the k-planes that came standard on them. Somebody needs to jump on that if it's for sale..................

Sutphil,
I tried to find that add on the autotrader.ca website (Canada), but it doesn't come up as cigarette. Where did you you get that picture?? I'm trying to track down as many of the 27/24 Squadrons as I can. Thanks................Eddy

Re: 24 cigarette
I'm afraid to say that autotrader.ca is not a very good site for looking something up if you don't know what area you want to look in. I don't think I ever found out how to do a search of the WHOLE database!! It always wanted me to pick an area first!!! Any help would be appreciated. Is it listed as a Cigarette? I even looked under C-Hawk?? Cigarette never made a "Hawk" that I know of. thanks.................

Sutphil,
That's a bummer. Wonder how long it was on there......I've noticed ads on traderonline.com stay on for quite a while even after the item sells.
JGB,
Yea, It's a sweet add. I've got the original ad from a 1981 Yachting magazine. It's in perfect shape. Couldn't get the words to come out any clearer for a picture. If ya can't read it , it says:
"First came Formula, Donzi, Magnum, then Cigarette. Now meet Don Aronow's ultimate creation. Squadron XII, where speed, beauty and unbridled power take flight. For more information write................................"
at the very bottom it says:
"1981 27' Offshore. Speed 62mph with standard single 400 Merc. Cyclone, 225 mile range. $32,990. Also available in 24' model."
