Re: Post your Oldschool ride!
Here's my 1980 Pantera (photo from this past Sunday). This photo cracks me up.
The Pacific was perfect this weekend. Sunday was a good size well spaced roller that was perfect for the good old straight bottom 24 degree V's.
The boat is in this thread earlier, back when it lived in Lake George. (Thanks again Chris!).

Re: Post your Oldschool ride!
It's a great boat. i'm very happy with it.
One of my favorite things is coming up fast on a big sport fish or cruiser wake and watching my passengers brace for take off only to have the boat blow right through the wake without a bump!
I'm sure your old Magnum has a similar ride though! Those boats are wave crushers too!
(Nocig, I'm a rubber head, I didn't read the entire post... so I now realize this doesn't apply, but fun anyhow huh?)

Re: Post your Oldschool ride!
nocigarette,
You shouldn't kick yourself too hard. I've dropped an enormous amount of money into it and it still isn't perfect. I'm still planning on a pair of nasty 383's and it still needs the back seat reupholstered. I've replaced just about everything in the boat, motors, exhaust, wiring, guages, throttle shift and indicator cables, water pickups, every hose, every clamp, and lots of other little things. I tried to buy the best of everything and use stainless steel everywhere.
I'd trade it for you're Magnum anyday.

Becarful about that trade talk that mag is almost perfect... i am going to need a new project in another month....
