Winston Race Boat?

On the last page of a recent edition of powerboat mag there is an article on the last page with a photoshot of an old Winston Race boat in an article. I have looked through a bunch of the old threads but can't find any pics or info on this boat. What kind of boat is it...looks like a cig flatdeck or an old Scarab, staggered set-up. Is the boat still around anywhere? Anyone have more pics or details...HORBA???

Darren has some great photos on his site

One of the last races in 1999 when Art and Mike Girard brought down Heavy Metal. It was great fun while it lasted.

Re: Winston Race Boat?

From the late 80s to early 90s,, I watched many a race in Puerto Rico while I lived and worked there.
Was some great racing and big water at times.

Thank you
Jim
