The M-588 is a Magnum 27' sport that belonged to my old race team owner Bob Kehrig, P-18 is Jay Smiths Putt Putt Velocity. Jay did have a Cobra called Putt Putt later.

Marco,
I bought the boat in a shipyard in Monaco, the boat was white with blue and red deco like the Martini paint. I dont have any history, i just have the name of the previous owner (italian) and the serial number.
Maybe you can find some history.

Here is what's left of Mollewood, after Gerry Dehenau leased the Cobra to Rocky for the San Francisco race. Gerry owned Mollewood products here in the Detroit area, and the Cobra was his new race boat, [thought to be one of the Beep Beeps] I believe he only raced once or twice as MOLLEWOOD. Rocky and Gerry were lucky to have Errol Lanier on board for their test run. The boat broke up and Errol [a Florida fireman] saved their lives. Pic from SEARACE..

Can`t find my Cobra files ! I`ll keep searching,it was a long time ago !

I would love to get some pics of the Man-O-War and Nightwing Cobras.
I painted them back in the day, never got proper pics.

In the mean time here is a great classic pic of Joel Halperns
38 Cobra !!!

Do you know the year?
I think it was the first version without the windshield of 1975.

Patrick,I think it was a former Beep Beep first version(1975-77).
Maybe the former Mollewood posted above of the famous Aoki's crash in1979. (The wreck was repaired or demolited?)
