I have the trs 280 outdrives and found two different types of rams external and internal return lines . does anyone know which ones are the correct ones.

yes, I still have the trs rams. I have three of the internal early style, that are a lot stronger than the newer style. they are still in good shape. pm me if you are interested. we can work something out.

1984 Scarab III
trs rams

Mine have a part # of 87411...I belive these are the ones that have a single external line. I always hear about these internal lines...how does that work? How internal can they be? Hydraulic has to plug in somewhere right? Will these work for me and how do I hook them up. The boat is an 1984 Scarab III and I assume these are the original drives (though one says TRS and the other says TR? They appear identical. I don't understand?? I am sort of new at this expensive sport I really cant afford...lol.
