Vintage Project - 1978 35' Cigarette Mistress

Please see my ad in the classifieds, for my 1978 35' Cigarette Mistress ready-to-reassemble project boat.

I need to unload her as I have too many projects and not enough space. Make me an offer I can't refuse, I want to see her go to a good home.

Thanks,

Harry

2008 24' Banana Boat, 1976 24' Banana Boat; '77 Cigarette 28SS; '74 Cigarette 35' "Benihana/Spirit"
For those who may not be aware....Harry did this boat up in the most famous color scheme of all.....this is how the orginal ..The Cigarette .....looked in living color.

White deck, black sides with a red bootstripe and white bottom.

Beautiful job Harry !!

IMO the Only paint scheme a Aronow Era Cig can be...

My love with one is etched in memory by a 38 Flatdeck floating outside a beach in Ibiza some 20yrs ago that had that same paintscheme sans the red stripe but with 1 foot tall Roman font Golden letterin spelling itīs name CAESAR on the sides.
Had to swim and dive up close to see itīs SSMīs and Cleavers plus the white bottom.
Instanlty when I saw that boat I thought about "the Cigarette" and That Don A wasnīt around anymore.

Someone buy her and do her right! I'm sad to think of her leaving, but open to reasonable offers from a good home

I've been telling everyone she is a great project if you have the aptitude to finish her yourself, or if you have really deep pockets!

Charlie, the intention was to replicate the original 32' Cary, even though she was a 35'. Closest I could come to the original I guess . . .

Cig..the 35 is the mother of all todays Deep Vees...
Remember Aronow used the 35 as a basis to do the 39īs then 38īs then did some tweaks to the deck and voilá Apache 41īs etc etc .
I believe basically prolly 90% of all US deep Vees origin from the 35 Mistress mold.
Even Scarabs have a striking resemblance IMO.
