John Raban had a new CUV called Ohio steel - only ran it a few times then that boat runed into "Riveted" and that boat ran as an open boat and a super boat - it had Arenson ASD 8 - it was sold to a guy in Maryland that was going to turn it into a pelasure baot and I believe it is still sitting after 5 + years - This boat had steerable arnesons - with KE 1100 went 162 mph ---- but had trouble keeping all the nuts and bolts together in the engine bays
The yellow CUV that hung around Lauderdale for a couple of years was Warren Liables boat from Canada - single rudder with BPM's - a local Lauderdale guy " Messersmith purchased it to turn it into a pleasure boat - that project dragged on for a couple of years and then the boat slipped off the radar screen - rumor was it went to the guld coast -
Dirty Laundry turned into Endangered Species and that was again renamed Sea Escape - Errol Lanier & Clay Wilson ran this boat briefly as a race baot - then Clay ran it as a pleasure boat
Bill Gifford had a 42' CUV also - Heavy metal ------
Sold Riveted in the summer 2001 to a guy near Baltimore MD - last seen in his front yard - the baot was very clean and had a nice set of KE 1100 with whipples and the bugs finally worked out -
