there is an article on this boat's top secret propulsion package "project 734" in the sept. 1999 powerboat mag. and one of the young college kids working on it was mike d'anniballe of sterling fame, this was early eighties and the boat weighed in at 14,000 lbs and with 875 hp per side was not very fast,

The first boat was MELONS not bank restaurant. It was run by Edwin Scheer and JT at one point as Thoroughbred Motorcars on the OPT circuit.

I'm pretty sure this is the last Systems and it was powered by turbocharged small blocks .

They were around 366cu Chevy block Mclaren turbo engines, the year around 1989. Mike Danniballe worked there at the McLaren Livonia Michigan shop. Bob later powered her with Gentry big block 366cu turbo power to run in OPT open class

Future, They Were So Successful Back In The 80's They Did Away With The Sport Class Because No One Could Compete With Them.

Butch you were ahead of your time with your 366cu turbo power. When your 37' Active Sport boat ran with the open class, time to discontinue sport class.
