Here is one more, looks like someone made a copy, a 28' Outlaw 7' beam just like a Bertram hull and a few deck modifications.

I know it is off the subject, but I just love that towing vehicle. Reminds me of the good old days...

My Moppie

This boat had 2 700hp Holman Moody's..one in the front on a z drive and one in the rear on a V drive..It ran about 75, which was the norm in the late 60's..and rode like a Caddy..

I think that is the best one..my wife took them because I was in the boat with Richard B..I worked for Holman Moody and took over when Jim Manders left Bertram..It was at the St Pete race in 68 or 69..the slide was developed in Feb 69..I will post it there also..

I think this was the last offshore race boat that Richard Bertram drove.

It was the first 31'Competition built together with the Master Moppie of Rittmaster in 1967.
What end has it made that boat then?
