I just viewed the # 505 boat pictured, and now am not sure if that is the boat I was in, as the name on the back is Super BP
Could be Steve Sirois??????????????? anyway I was in all the Bahama 500`s and won two of the later ones. One with Bonomi in 1974 and one with Gentry 1976, they were 500 kilometers long. Great races. 7XCHAMP

I can not believe Ralph Boalt passed away, I really liked that guy, we were pretty close with always trying to put some sort of deal together. I worked with him when he was with Jerry Rossi of Target trailer, we were the first to start building tricked out trailers. He will be missed, he was so young. Condolences to the family. 7XCHAMP

Richie - Dale Thayer ran #505 (28' Memco w/4 BPs) in 1969 Bahama 500. He finished 1st outboard. I ran #909 (32 Cary w/4 BPs). However, I did run the #505 later that year in another race (Sam Griffth?) and finished 1st Outboard.

Hi Richie! Everything well. And I also hope for you!
If you surely were not in 505 you can see yourself on the 9 of Bonomi to the 1973 CTC, that of the turns in round because you was without steering.
Have you still gone to see the new films of Graham Stevens on Boatmad.com?

Hi Steve,
Does something remember instead of that Bertram Mona Lou #70 on the back ground of the photo?
Was it the formerSternwinder?
