I remember the boat from when I was a kid. It sat at Alliance Manufacturing (Genie garage door openers) in Alliance Ohio.
A few years back I picked up a 20' Maritime that had been rigged for twin 80hp outboards. It still had the engine-turned finish on the hull.

Really hope that the person that buys it ,buys it to restore. It would be really sad to see it be hacked up.What a really cool classic that would be with the turbines back in it.

1966 maritime turbine
|
I bought the turbine thunderbird and yes it will be restored! I saw this boat on e-bay, I had a hard time sleeping thinking about this boat so I figured I should just buy it, and wow what a boat! It still had the original engine cover for the turbine engines!
