Vinyl Cockpit Color opinions wanted!

Well the seats and combing pads have all been removed and brought to the upolstery shop. I am looking for opinions on the new interior. Should it be left the same red or change. At this time I will not be painting the topsides and cockpit liner so that will remain offwhite/almost beige. I am considering black hull (rub rail to chine) with a white bottom. Your opinions will be appreciated.

------I think the dark red will look killer with black hull sides and maybe a red boot-stripe. Its funny how things moved around back then on 188 street as the front seats look identical to DONZI GT21 seats. the back seat bottom looks to have been redone as it would have been rolled and pleated similar to the seat back. Bilt-Rite must have made the interior for these boats as well as for DONZI!!!........Bill S

Ditto,
Old school tuck and roll would be cool too. All one color not striped.

Your right, the bottom cushion was redone at some point. The new interior will be the same original color and the bottom of the rear seat will be brought back to original to match the backrest. No logo's, no stripes.

i owned one like yours a 1972 for 20 years bought it all original, sold it all original, just redone through the years.you might consider white upholstery.anything else is quite hot on your butt!!!--mine was a red side white bottom, white trip gel coat around the inlaid wood.it had blue piping and was originally "spirit of 76,mildew proof" white from" us nagahyde"(sp?)--i even talked to the original upholsterer in miami i forget now who it was.anyway the seats were roll and pleated both tops and bottoms.you have the original seats with the map pockets in the back.all you need is roll and pleated upholstery.the side panels were roll and pleated as well--hope this helps--terry
