Anybody recognise this 35?
I found this 35' sitting in the boatyard in Puereto Banus back in 1990, she had been there for at least 4 years with no cover and looked pretty bad. I found out that she was owned at some time by the arms dealer Adnan Koshoggi (ex Nabila/ Trump princess), he sold to a friend whom it seems did nothing with her after he had blown a motor. I bought her from the boatyard after paying there outstanding bill and shipped her back to England where I then spent every evening and holiday completely remodeling her over two years.
I sold her last year and other than the days she didnt want to work had a great some great rides.
I would love to find out more of her history before me if anyone can help.

Hi tonyto,welcome on board.
I think can treat of the 35' Eraf of the Italian champion Giulio De Angelis.
De Angelis bought that boat in 1976 and drove her in the Bacardi Trophy.
Then the boat was brought in Italy and in that years was berthed to Porto Cervo in Sardinia, where resided both Kashoggi and the family De Angelis.

The 35 foot CigaretteImpossible Dream also had that color scheme. I have photos of that running in California, I'll see if I can dig them out.

Thank you Black tornado, it is interesting I never knew De angelis ran a 35' the boats I have seen were both the blue and red 36's at Cowes in the early '70's. My boat had only two bolsters not the normal three which I think is unusal and when I repainted her there was no sign of any race number. I will also be interested to see the pictures Top Banana has of Impossible dream.

when you have repainted it came outside the light blue similar to that one of the Eraf that I have posted above?
From your photo it seems that there is a little part where from the dark blue comes outside the light blue one.

Interesting is that it has a two man bolster and it looks like the Eraf also has a two man bolster. The only other race 35 I´ve seen with a 2 man bolster is the Spirit/Benihana.
