TRS Help

Looking for a blow up pic for Trs drive to Merc Trans set up. I have a washer and spacer but not sure how they go? Mobil Merc man walked me through it but I need a pic. Not to smart> LOL

I looked in the Merc manual #2 . It shows the install of the washer and Oring but not the spring in place.

The spring snaps on the rear groove of pic2. The top pic shows the washer in place on output shaft on fwd end of splines. It protects the seal in front of it. The spring if it were shown in pic one would make the trannie look longer. Without the spring it is near impossible the line the drive yoke into the trannie out put housing.

I don't know how else to help you more than this.

Well you could always fly up to Jersey?

Lol Thank you for your help I think I understand now. I just do not want any more trouble with this stuff. I think alot of the trouble I was having was due to no O ring or washer. Now I can get this thing to Ocean City and have some fun

Great to see you are going to make Ocean City....it is going to be awesome.Looks like Class 5 will have alot of boats.

Was hoping he might want to come back for a visit Actualy we have it all figured out and got the seals we needed today so we are ready to hang the drives as soon as I get home from my trip. Thanks again Merc Man for the help and pics.
