Redman,
Were you married to Gail Lanham. She was our OPBRA Secretary back in the early 80's.

Gail Lanham
Gail Lanham is my second cousin. Her dad, Robert Lanham, and brother, Robbie Lanham, have been in the boating business for many years in Florida---

Mike Bontoft - I was the cheeky little monkey who dared to ask for a ride in the boat from the Groves and Gutteridge yard to Southampton way back when as you were going to run her back there alone!

Sorry Nigel I don't remember the trip back, I hope my reply wasn't a p#ssy one. I think the only reason I remember the trip over to Cowes is because I got into a little race with another boat making the crossing and turned around to look back at them and hit a wave standing the boat on its tail and scare myself Sh#tless.
Fantastic job with the photographs Nigel, they bring back a ton of memories.
Do you still go over to watch the Cowes race?
My wife thinks I'm nuts but I plan to compete at Cowes in 2010. The race and I will be 50.
Mike
