This wasn't a race boat, I will try to dig out the article,I know I have it somewhere.I think it was around 1980-81It was the older style deck with raised rear hatches.

Could have been small blocks?! My Current Cigarette is a 75' Awesome (raised deck 35) and when I bought it 10 years ago it had 390 small block Tempests in it w/TRS drives. They were built by Mercury high performance-I still have the owners manuals and warranty info,90 days, 11:1 compression,Owners manual says "Use only 100 octaine gasoline" Must have been a Sunoco somewhere on the water!
