Mr Roberts won the Key West worlds in 1985 with little Stevie Curtis on the throttles, this was the year that the Still Crazy accident also happened, Mr Roberts and Still Crazy were sharing a tent in the pits as part of there Team MerCougar ......He won again 2 years later driving COUGAR/SEAHAWK at the 1987 KAZE CARA Key West worlds.

I knew it had to be around there. I remember Fulhams boat being towed in behind that Shrimper... what a get wrenching sight. They were good people and loyal OPBRA members who never missed a meeting.

I Think your missing a year here, I was in Miami for the worlds when Still Crazy Stuffed, But I was In Keywest when tony and Steve won the Race. I'm sure Tony raced there more than once, But I think theres a year gap here.

Stan Brunner. He lived on a boat at Maul Lake and was good friends w/ David Gilmore. Both of whom died in similar ways. Both good men and the real deal!

I Probably remember you from somewhere, especially if you hung out at cougar, Brownie (my Father) is truely an Icon in the sport and the most fun person anyone could hang out with. I remember LA Curtis, I tried My hardest to "Hit That" But she was to infactuated with Richie C (from fayva) Great Times back then.
Your dad is a great guy. I met him years back at Key West and we downed quite a few at the bar. His stories were well worth the price of admission. He has since helped me with some custom stuff from Stainless Marine. SUPER guy to deal with.

As well as race, Elliott used to run poker runs with us, seemed to be a real nice guy. We would run on my friend Bill's 35 Cigarette Dol-R-Bill then his 38 Lethal Weapon. If I recall correctly, None Of Your Business came after the Gary Hart / Donna Rice scandal on Don Soffer's Monkey Business. I still have a Monkey Business polo floating arond somewhere.

Are you still with the company that you were filmed in the Don Aronow A&E documentary?

And speaking of clubs back then; don't forget 'G Whiz' on Biscayne. The VIP room up there always had some memorable characters present.
I was with Monza Marine when we did that doc. I am now with Deep Impact Boats here in Miami as Director of sales. And yes None of your Business was after the Gary Hart deal. I flipped when Donnie told me the name, it was great. This thread is enjoyable to read and participate, I go back before a lot of you guys though, to mid 1970`s and up. Stan Brunner was a good friend, and we did business together, he was part of the N.Miami gang. Danny Derrough, Jake trotter, Jimmie Bruehl, Stan Brunner, Gillie, And the boss ( Brownie ) Lots of laughs and good stories out of Tony Roma`s in those days with Frannie the bar tender, she made a lot of dough back then, almost forgot the big guy Bouncer there, Regis I think. My partner Bobby Beich and myself used to attend a few of the Union meetings there, never did know how I got home. Good Times.
