That is the first cig to have a notched transom, IIRC it ran about 100mph. One of the first ones to do it.

A boat is only worth what someone will pay for her and that boat will never see 190k... or 75 - 80. Come on guys... 550's with 3's... thats 470 net at best. My guess is the boat is lucky to see 65

Is so rare to find a race boat unchanged and so in good state.
I hope that who will have the 190k(really too much) leave the boat in that state.

Penske 39 Competition?
Does anybody kno what happened to the 39 Competition Don Aronow built for Roger Penske? It was so KOOL looking: Sunoco Blue with Yellow pinstriping just like Roger's racing cars. I know it may have been sold and no longer sporting that liverry. Little Nige or Black Tornado- can you chime in?
