I think the boat in upper left corner of post #1 is my dad's old Conspiracy. I know Mr. Gentry bought it and put blower motors in it. The deck striping looks really familiar.

Have you pics of your dad's Conspiracy?
Do you know the built serial number of the boat?

In fact, we have several photo albums from the 1974-1977 era that I really need to scan and post. Just haven't made the time to do it because there are well over a 100 shots. Maybe this will motivate me.

Even have a couple of 16mm movies converted to videtape. Maybe I have a project???

Not sure we can find the hull number but it is the same boat the Dunsmore's own per Richie.

We attend with interest your photos.
We don't know a lot of the Conspiracy boats of your dad and I believe that this is a good occasion to add another wedge to the mosaic of the offshore classic.
However was the Conspiracy Cig.35' a new boat?
Remember the mounth and year when your dad received the boat?

Boat was built new. Dad won the 1975 national title in production II (my icon), then put modified motors in it and raced the first few events of 1976. Melted both motors in the St. Pete race in April of that year just off the John's Pass bouy. He then built the 35' which was delivered just before the Marina Del Ray event in August of 1976.

I would have other questions but I believe will be better attending if you will post photo preferably in a new thread on purpose devoted in which we can continue the history.
