Nigel are you in the pics in post 2?!
You was in Venice and then maybe was you also at Viareggio that 1980?
I remember well Steve that washed the deck of the Bertram and the guy with the beard to the right of the photo.
With them I exchanged some words.

The guy to the right with the beard was "Tank". Pretty much Ted Tolemans personal mechanic, He and Smitty didn't really see Eye to Eye, But since he worked for Ted Smitty had to put up with him. He was an Extremely nice guy. When I worked at Cougar in Miami he lived there on the property in a camper.
