I think it was the year after, thes pix are when she was still Beep Beep, I made the boat into Mich. light. and the she came apart, just off Jones Beach.

Thats Right, Now I remember it sitting at Cougar with the Mich Light paint job and the bottom torn off. You Had a Pic of it in your office at Hawk also (IIRC)

as a kid I remember having a pic of Kopper Kettle cut out of the daily news hung on my bedroom wall from the races down the jersey shore that was early 70's , funny it was the name of a ginmill in the Bronx my older brother hung out in at the time .

Offshore powerboat racing had the best media coverage nobody remembers!!! and ooh look at all the people who showed up to watch this so called "unfriendly to spectators" version of offshore racing!!
