Yes, it was "Bad Company". Gary Jeffries and I ran the boat. Craig Maudsley was in the 30' Shadow Cat with OPBRA ex pres. Mark Mercury and Larry Goldman was around also... either in Red Ryder(although I think Sonne Miller was driving) or the 38 Cigarette, Renegade. It was a very long time ago.

The shoot was in Oct. 1984 with 3 days of footage shot offshore between gvt cut and Haulover, Nixons mansion and elliot key. The "dual cary" shot took place in Caesars creek, by the ocean reef club.

Is the "38 Cigarette, Renegade" that you speak of possibly the boat that was previously named "KAAMA" and raced by Betty Cook?....just curious.....thanks...

Last edited by ski2play; 06-22-2009 at 04:08 PM. Reason: Bad question...Betty's boat went from KAAMA to Revenge

Hers was a Scarab. Though not many people claim to have seen the scarab mold built, it sure resembles a cig, right down to the knuckle in the sides......HHmmmmnnnn
