Circus Circus Offshore Boat
Does anyone have pictures of the Circus Circus race boat from the 80's?
The reason I ask is because I grew up around it, my moms B-friend was the throttleman.
It would be nice to see some pics.
Thanks in advance...

I believe this is the same boat...now. I know it started out as a Circus Circus boat but I believe it already had turbines in it before the new owner bought it.

Different Boat. Fusco's was originally turbines and the CC race boat was and still is an enclosed cockpit boat.
Chronology: Risky Business - - Circus Circus - - Risky Business - - CP Performance - - Travis Racing

Rik what year is it? Would that be the same hull that raced in New Orleans in 90-91?
I remember seeing it on the cover of CP's catalog

Could be early 90's. Would have been the same boat though as there was no other one the CC sponsored. This was the same time when Kaiser had sponsorship from Excalibur Casino.
We got the first 3 40' hulls and they were 1991-92 and this hull was like #5-7?

Tom Gentry leased and ran the boat in the APBA world Championships in Ft Meyers in 1993 with John Connor on sticks, I think they broke. I won the worlds in the Scarab we set the world Kilo record with, Superboat V Omar Danial on wheel and Norman Gentry as Navigator. I believe the name on the circus circus boat was Gentry Eagle 99 . Deal was put together by Freddie Miller from the Gentry Calif. shop. There were some early extensive posts about this on OSO, seems like about a year ago ?????????
