Hi Charlie,
Partenocraft was a yard of the Naples area that built in the sixties some racing and pleasure offshore boats designed by Renato "Sonny" Levi.
More detailed information he will find in this devoted site to the historical boats of Levi.

http://www.altomareblu.com/?p=1274

p.s. if then he will want to have more detailed info of a specific offshore boat of Partenocraft maybe I can help him if I will know the model.

That yard was run by Cdr. Attilo Petroni. Dick Genth and Odell Lewis sank in one in the 1967 Gateway.

The "Thunderbird" of Petroni and Genth wasn't a Partenocraft but was a Levi Delta built near Rome by the Cantiere Delta.
It was a woodden boat of 38' with a pair of Daytona.

Only two boats were famous for Partenocraft:

-1967 Delta Synthesis- was a Delta Levi 40' on wood with a pair of Daytona and straight shaft for the italian Gargiulo and Levi himself. In 1968 that boat became Partenocraft 40 for Lattaro.

-1967 Hydrosonic Special - was a Delta Levi 32' on wood with a pair of BPM Vulcano and straight shaft for the famous British engineer Mike Trimming.

1967 - The white Delta Synthesis

1968 - the former Delta Synthesis now in red renamed Partenocraft 40.

1967 - The Hydrosonic Special
