Salty Dog,

Very good job on naming the Sea Hawk Race Team. I think Justo Jay's son played baseball for the University of Miami a few years ago. Sea Hawk always had a great softball team. Here's another one for you...Bob Latham did throttle Man 'O War. Can you name the four other boats that Bob throttled for? This is for triple bonus points.

Dose anyone remember the early eighties RCA Tv commercial that had a blue 32' Cobra [Harry O ?] in it ??? I believe it was shot in the Florida Key's, the gest of the ad was all the vivid colors of the Key's and the boat too, and how good the Tv was...

Hi Phil,

I was going for:

Evil Ways M-144, Maltese Magnum with Bill Elswick
Magic Gems M-999, a 30' Stuphen
Molsen Indy 66, a Cigarette with Lorne Libel and John Tomlison
Surgin 70, a Cougar Cat with Doc Spergel

I just spoke to Bob last week. Kathy and Bob always speak very highly of you. I know she even did some voice over work for NNRT. You once told me that offshore racing just as much an exhibition as it was a sport, but what an exhibition it was!

Sincerely,

John

The SeaHawk / Cougar Cat / KS&W days were more in the mid 80's.
