I think I have found an important bit of history, I have aquired the 32' Cobra, "Man o War", Randy Sousa's raceboat! Waiting to get it out, Stuck in a boatyard for year's! Any info. would be appreciated, Pic's, Old race program's etc., Anything is a help.

Cool old's cool rig with great hull lineage. Pict's from 'Boating' Jan. '81 @ Islamorada race fall '80. They won that event also. Believe Bob Latham was gas-guy also for Sosa; could probably get more insight from him. There's a pile of shots from this race on Historic Offshore's site also? Bonus points: who did Ralph Linero go on to navigate for?? Back to Islamorada, Fayva apparently brought the Cig & Cougar cat and ran the cat....wrong hull! Ajac Hawk won in their Cig. Bonus shot of one of Detroit's finest in Sport......

Hey 818181,
Congrats on your find, I'm jealous !
Is she still named "Man o War" on the sides ? And/ or
is she named "Gold Rush" currently ?
I have some old info on both, got to head to storage
facility and dig it up............... i'll post for this week.
