It will be a few days before I can upload any of my pics, but for info the classic CUV Cinzano won the Cowes Torquay Cowes race today!

Spectacular! Patrick was a great custodian of that peice of history. Glad to see that boat went to a good home and is back doing what she does best. Congratulations to all involved.
It seems to me that this is one of the few offshore boats that can challenge the reputation of Warpath in the pantheon of great and beloved race boats.

Warpath canīt even hold a Candle against CUVīs.
Or Apache in general...and thatīs the Honest Thruth.
Or show me otherwise at CTC 2010 or the Next RBR...

I'd love to see it. The must have run against each other in Key West. But I was talking about legend and folklore more than actual performance anyhow... And you've seen my new sig line on SO, you know where I come down on that discussion!

Well In My eyes thereīs more Legends by CUV than Apache...
Deep Veeīs or Catīs---- CUV is a LEGEND because of the Racers (only) and Folklores follow.

85 Worlds
I remember one 3 race series where they went head to head and I believe that Ben's 41 Apache's came out on top after three days...I am sure there are many other races where they went head to head but that was a big one...
