Cowes 50th Anniversary 2010
I hope that old school fans will be able to attend Cowes next year - the 50th anniversary! A number of old school boats will hopefully be there. Should be a week long event, possibly to include the P1 racers also. Boatmad will have more details on the forum pages. Richie - you up for it?!

Charlie - I suggest putting it out there on the boatmad site - I'd hope that something could be arranged. Ask Jon Fuller or Ciao.

Speaking of Cowes, how is this pic of the start of the 1979 race.. This race had many of the big names there, even the #420 Magnum Sedan was in the race....

Hi Nigel: I am definitly up for it, unfortunatly my financial situation is not. I would love to come back to the greatest race in the world, especially having won the race three out of five times entered, and a holder of a record speed for the round trip of 79.8 mph in Satisfaction with Bill Elswick. Maybe we can find some sponsors who would be interested in picking up the tab ???????? I would love to visit Cowes again, and recall some great times we all had, I presume you will try and make it as well, it would not be complete if we didnt have the whole team together. We`ll see how things shake out.
