Congrats!! Looks awesome and I'd love to get my hands on something just like it someday. I would, however, re-install the tabs along the lines of the V out by the chines. Best of luck.

Hull looks similar to the later model 26CV. Both great looking boats. Good luck!

I'd also get ahold of Nigel Hook and ask him about drive hight and battery/trim pump placement. I don't think anybody knows that hull better than Nigel, Not even the Manufacturer.

Eric,

A couple of years ago, that tab installation was thought to aid performance by not pushing "out"... Has that theory been disproven?

If it were me, I would leave them where they are. ...but unfortunately I not the lucky owner of this boat, so he will obviously do as he sees fit... I would imagine there were not many built...kinda like the 38... both very cool and rare boats... There was a 38 in NY "Jake the Snake" that i absolutely loved several years ago.

theory hasnīt been disproven, it still works.

And yes Iīd leave the boats setup like it is and get some time with it.

Nice boat, all I can say.

Yes 38īs are rare but still on my last trip I saw at one place two ex Betty Cook 38īs...
