Default 1986? Holiday Isle regatta?

sorry about the kid in each photo....and no remarks about the short shorts please...heheh.

hey, there's that In Memory of" sticker for F111...I remember asking a guy if someone really died the day of that race...was it somebody named Smiley? was it smiling jack the name of the boat? I think FlapJack won that race...but I was young...

It would have been Smiley Johns. Boat 111 was Still Crazy, Dick Fullman and Mike Poppa who also passed away as a result of stuffing their boat.

The Still Crazy accident was KW 1985. These pictures are 1986 but I don't think they were Holiday Isle.....

The Still Crazy reference that I made was because of the "111" I thought that the sticker he refered to might have been left on in tribute from the previous year which would have been 1985.

The still crazy incident happened at the end of 85, worlds Key West. Stickers were displayed during the 86 season.
