or it's the Miami Mid Winter Classic '79 1st place

some good 'ole middle class fun



that's an Apallo hull? Knocky House builder? copy of a Formula 233...

BROWNIE,

Can you please identify the white Magnum showed in lower right corner in this picture. Looks like a small one.... 23-24?

It looks like a "full height" 28' Magnum to me. They all had that particular crest on them. Don't know for sure.....

Mange, it's this 27' Magnum that I believe Bob Nordskog owned & raced at one time. Bob Brown raced her in 1977 at the Marina Del Ray Classic when he was the executive editor of Powerboat Magazine.

The one on the left top and bottom are 28 Maltese's,you can tell by the longer step pad and the painted edge from the crown top of the deck to the deck...key difference between the Sport and the Maltese.

Now I have a combo drunk/bad seeing. But this boat is not the 27/28.

In 1979 it was called "the Holiday Isle 100"
Why do I know ?
Because I won 1st place overall w/ a 28' Pantera P-124 triple outboard that next year I raced in Europe's Offshore class 2.

Keep those old pics coming,
Bounce, your father was a real offshore racer, a diehard!
