i have no relationship, with the polli family, it was one off my favourite offshore boats (one of many)
and its great that you have welcomed me to this great site, as its your informative posts of classic offshore history that has made me join!
as a boy growing up on the isle of wight i have watched every cowes torquay and cowes classic since 1976, but have now moved away, but atleast i was there for some of the golden years

hi littlenige, the island is a small place so you might do, always made sure i went to ctc every year since 78ish so have seen some good ones, even went out on the wet stuff a few times to watch great stuff, i am a member of boatmad too so all ways read your posts you know a great deal and i am always interested in what you have to say
