As Cig3 [Andy] knows it takes so much work and $$$$$ today to put on races like we did with the Silver Cup Series. Also its so hard to find volunteers to help put a event on, and the few that do burn out very fast... Racing again back on Lake Erie would be GREAT.

I really think OPA would like to get back to racing on Lake Erie.As you said,it takes alot of hard work and money but hopefully it can happen in the near future. There also still has to be some other race boats besides Simmons Marine and Erie Monster from Ohio that would be interested in racing again.Cleveland,Toledo and Erie,PA come to mind as great race site.
