I have one of the original adds for the open fish and i also have the boat from the accident, that was my father in the accident
(Mike Whitmire) i found it in Erie Pennsylvania, I've been restoring it for the last 2 years, it should be finished in the next few months.

No doubt, interesting story and a great tribute to your father, very much looking forward to the finished result.
This would also make an interesting documentry... If you have pics and are willing to spend some time posting as you go, I'm sure the thread would have a very strong following.

Mike was my father and Al was Phil's uncle Although Mike and Al were
inseparable we are not related.
