55-60 with 330's. No way they would go over 70 with 400's. Those were heavy boats for their length.

I had a 1982 302 with 468 cu in with 420 hp and TRS drives and I run 3 blade bravo 25pitch props and the best it ran was 65 mph at 4600 rpm on gps. From that I went to 43 Scarab and now have a Cig 38 Flat deck. The formula is an awsome boat . Of the 3 offshores I have owned by far the best cabin and will run in 4 footers all day long. I must say I miss the boat.
I agree with Patri Yacht 400s will never see 70 mph the boat is at least 10,000 to 11,000 lbs.

Awesome riding boat, very sea worthy. We re-rigged one that had KAAMAs....kept the kaamas...small blower motors probably abput 650 a side runs low 90s and is really stable

Glad you added that, a lot of people did not believe me when I said mine ran 90. Thats pretty good for a old turd. They believed me when I went by them though. Bruce
