The boat builder was Julio De Varona a great friend of mine. These boats were built here in miami. The boats were built great. He still has the molds and builds the 32. These boat will take a beating. Julio raced with El Boss "Willie Diaz", Pepe from Pantera Racing, Randy Sosa Man o War, and many others. Im sure Richie Powers can also help as he knows him and his boats.

Wow not too many 37 scorpions around, there was one in Miami called Bad Rumors. I remember Julio also was the throttleman for "THE CONNECTION". Hey low blue 320 thats when they would race out of Sundays on the bay in Haulover back in the day.

Yes, my parents have a video of my as a little boy by the rocks watching my old man come out of Houlover in a race... Cool memories.
