Old Farts Forever. Only place in the world where you can talk to 6 of the first 9 Miami-Nassau race winners, THE world water speed record holder, winningest boat racer of all time, go for a ride with some of them, etc. My favorite event ever.... Jupiter, Fl 20-22 October 2011

Have mentioned this story before with regards to RIGGS, over 40 years ago went bowling with Mel and a group of guys (YES BOWLING0 ,, In my life I have never seen a bowling ball travel so fast,,,,,,, He and Odell to-gether are legendary wihth plenty of photo ops,, Should be the best ever

I have spent countless hours and miles racing alongside Odell and Riggs. If you want a tough job, just try to beat those guys in rough water. The whole Mercury team was made of tough sum*****es. Their success was legendary, especially if you consider that they weren't allowed to beat a customer if he was winning the race! At the end of the "golden era", I was the only competitive boat with white engines. They assigned Bakos to run alongside me wherever I went. Had some fun there......... Love those guys. Can't wait to see them again. I am souping up my mobility cart in case they want some action.
