Cool "Man O War" 32'- Cobra

I think I have found an important bit of history, I have aquired the 32' Cobra, "Man o War", Randy Sousa's raceboat! Waiting to get it out, Stuck in a boatyard for year's! Any info. would be appreciated, Pic's, Old race program's etc., Anything is a help.

nice find post pics when you get it..I really like that boat.. Is it in original condition?

Pretty much Original,No motor's or Drives, Alot of rigging still intact, Also will be up For Sale at some point!!

Cool old's cool rig with great hull lineage. Pict's from 'Boating' Jan. '81 @ Islamorada race fall '80. They won that event also. Believe Bob Latham was gas-guy also for Sosa; could probably get more insight from him. There's a pile of shots from this race on Historic Offshore's site also? Bonus points: who did Ralph Linero go on to navigate for?? Back to Islamorada, Fayva apparently brought the Cig & Cougar cat and ran the cat....wrong hull! Ajac Hawk won in their Cig. Bonus shot of one of Detroit's finest in Sport......

Congrats on your find, I'm jealous !
Is she still named "Man o War" on the sides ? And/ or
is she named "Gold Rush" currently ?

I have some old info on both, got to head to storage
facility and dig it up............... i'll post for this week.

Thanks for pic's and info!!, Crashbox, No not "GoldRush", No name on it now, Can see on gelcoat some lettering,But too faded to make out. When we get it to shop, Then I'll be able to find out.
