I paid $7500 for the boat and a shorelander tandem axle trailer. Not too shabby if you ask me...I couldnt find anything in Washington, Idaho or Oregon which was over 25 feet, had a big block and bravo plus a trailer for under $10,000.

Congrats on the boat! +1 on ditching the tower and the speakers, imo.

Nice boat man! I am glad to see you got the Spyder,it should be a great boat for you... The rack is stupid though but I am only about the 5th person to say it Once you get that off and everything else you need done you should upload some more pics for us. You made the right choice.

By the way! You may want to keep that bottom paint, on a boat like that it might make it more marketable when you sell it. Not only that but taking that off is difficult and not cheap. Just my opinion

Im thinking I will remove the bottom paint from the stern and the sides but leave it on the bottom. Since this boat will be trailered I just dont like the look of bottom paint where its really obvious..

I will definitely post some pics in a couple months once I clean her up, remove the tower, remove the bottom paint (stern and sides) and get all of my stereo equipment installed...There really isnt alot that needs to be done to this boat otherwise, which is awesome...The trailer even has new brakes, new wheels and new tires!

Actually I wanted the name "Spyderman" but that name is taken too!!

No offense but what on earth are you doing to that Nova? How will you even see out of it?

i saw your thread about looking at 2 boats,i think you made the right decision, the boat looks good, and it should be cheep to run with a single 454 mag.loose the btm paint, and you should see 60 mph,ENJOY,you got a good deal.
