opinions; what are the better small hulls?

i was looking for something small and fast for a back bay runabout. my 23 Chaparral was bigger than needed. i was thinking 202 stinger 19 pachanga...something like that. my 27 Nova that i regretted selling 5 years ago fell back into my lap-couldn't pass up the deal. now my back bay boat is bigger than ever. gonna finish it and go with it this year. thinking about next year. any thoughts on the best small perf boat hulls to look for?

How about a 18 donzi. I know I've been passed by a couple of them.

-Had countless smaller boats over the past 30 yrs but the one that has withstood the test of time and really stood out was the 22 Pachanga. We've had our small block 22 Pachanga (20' + platform) as a second boat for the past 10 yrs. Every time we use it we are impressed with how well it works for a small boat.

They are made very well, have a windshield that actually works and have a small cabin that's big enough to spend the night in. Several yrs back I picked up a big block 22P but sold it within a year as the small block version just seemed to work better.

18' or 22' donzi sounds perfect for that.
