My guess...Aronow Squadron-12 27 was the original boat but the molds were sold to Al, the guy who bought all the Seahawk stuff. He was building under the Seahawk name for a while and these boats may be called that.

Arrow 830 a splash from a 27 Magnum Sport. Vented pad and cockpit moved back 1ft.

Is it possible that the Swedish group bought this guys molds? The decks look identical. This guy Al was building them across the street from Fort Apache back in the day. He was in an open field..

The Arrow (grumpy old men?) that I remember look very different.

You can read all about this hulls conception here. The GRUMPY OLD MEN was a Magnum Starfire with a custom home made deck that set the cockpit back.

I'm curious as to what happened to those old Squadron 12 molds. If I recall there was also a 24... cut down version of the starfire.

Best I could tell the 27 molds went to IMP by 1985. It looks like there was a west coat builder using the molds, or splashed it themselves, as recently as two years ago...forget the name. I've posted about it before... somewhere. They only used from the rub rail down, with a new rounded off modern deck on it - you can recognize it by it's exact 27' length, and the HUGE outer strakes - the squadrons were as large as any 35'ers, even on the 24, which is what set the hull apart from any other 27 cig or Magnum, or any other 24-27 foot boat out there.
