Good morning,
Curious if anyone has a good source for Fountain parts? I am in need of a gas tank sending unit for a merc 496. Is 2002 considered a classic?

God I hope yours is easier to get to than mine was, centered under seat bulkhead and half covered

Remember that many of the parts on your Fountain (and many other boats for that matter) are actually built / supplied by other manufacturers to the boat builder. Said another way, they're not unique to your Fountain. A gas tank sending unit is a very common part. The hardware in the mechanism under your bolster seats is an entirely different matter though. That's almost 100% Fountain specific.
