Does the Vector boat have a Tab Draggin at about 40*-45*. Maybe a Ballast tank is in order 
... I can tell they are using Horizontally mounted tabs and need an exaggerated angle to get the effect but that right there is hard on equipment

A pair of 540ci, 9:1, alu heads with T&D rocker gear, Crower/Lucas mechanical fuel injection, Stelling headers, Daytona crash boxes, #3a drives.
She maxes out at 85mph but is a sweet sweet ride! The boat is for sale if anyone is interested.

This boat is absolutely awesome and the motors are something else. Mike Bontoft of Bontoft High Performance, Poole, Dorset, UK, owns this boat and rigged it, he also built the motors which have now done over 900 race miles with only a cam belt and oil change!!! Truly incredible!
