Come back to muggy Florida this winter and we can sit down and tell more than a few stories.....Statue of limitations has passed on most of them anyway.

Well then since you are just a kid, you won't mind if it takes a few months.

Well we have two people to ask for sure....Sammy and Jack....... and maybe in the right conditions, they will give you a ride in one of those 2 to 3 footers too!

I love these early offshore race boat photos. It's fascinating when I think about it....I was born in 1974 when these boats were new. I want to at least restore one of these boats in my lifetime for future enthusiasts to enjoy. My classic Ducati motorcycle restoration is nearing completion....My next project may be a classic offshore boat restoration.

I think both pics are from Ron Thibedeau--Ron passed away a few years ago--don't know who has his pics--Charlie??

Gene.....Yes, HORBA has all of the photo libraries of Sal Magueri, Ron Thibedeau and John Crouse, including original negatives.

Thibedeau shot most of his stuff with 4X4 Hasselblad equipment and those are really sharp and clear.

We have it on a future to do list to set up a retail section for great photos.

We also have the original George Bartell paintings that Crouse used in his book SEARACE.
