Come back to muggy Florida this winter and we can sit down and tell more than a few stories.....Statue of limitations has passed on most of them anyway.

Well then since you are just a kid, you won't mind if it takes a few months.

With all due respect Charlie got to call BS on 18 footers in 35 mph winds around Rebecca Shoals .. Been around them many times in many conditions .
Tell me how fast you can run headon into a 18 foot swell much less a wind driven 18 foot wave being tripped with a 7 knot oppossing current.?

I love these early offshore race boat photos. It's fascinating when I think about it....I was born in 1974 when these boats were new. I want to at least restore one of these boats in my lifetime for future enthusiasts to enjoy. My classic Ducati motorcycle restoration is nearing completion....My next project may be a classic offshore boat restoration.

Thibedeau shot most of his stuff with 4X4 Hasselblad equipment and those are really sharp and clear.
We have it on a future to do list to set up a retail section for great photos.
We also have the original George Bartell paintings that Crouse used in his book SEARACE.
